A compact, versatile, and affordable Computed Radiography (CR) solution, the SIMMS CR is easy to install, use and maintain. It provides seamless integration into a DICOM network and transition to high-quality digital x-ray imaging.
Computed Radiography (CR) is a system for cassette based digital radiography and can be used at all conventional diagnostic workstations. Flexible and robust, SIMMS CR uses proven technologies to ensure uncompromising and consistent image quality. All imaging parameters are optimized, resulting in digital images that can be enhanced, enlarged, duplicated, and sent to any location in seconds with no loss of resolution.
The SIMMS CR design incorporates an ultra precise scan mechanism and protective cassettes to produce over 300,000 high resolution images per plate.
The SIMMS CR has been designed to be used in General Radiology, Orthopedics and Pediatric applications. Its up to 70 plates per hour throughput makes it ideal for low to medium volume environments.

The SIMMS CR Solution Provides
- Excellent image quality due to the optimized optics and variable scan resolution
- Manipulation, duplication and transmission of digital images without loss of image quality
- Improved clinical workflow
- The ability to export images in a DICOM 3.0 format for easy archiving and retrieval, review from any workstation, or electronic transmission to referring physicians for consultations
- Seamless transportation of images to SIMMS PACS
- The ability to import patient demographics directly from SIMMS RIS via DICOM Modality Work List
- High speed imaging, which increases the speed of throughput, reduces waiting times for cassettes, and provides rapid access to digital images
- Maximum on-site flexibility: small footprint and the optional wall-mount make it a perfect fit for small spaces or installation inside the X-Ray room for maximum productivity.
