We would like to inform you of you the recent expansion that we performed on your behalf at the Data Center this past weekend.     This was our third expansion over the past three years.   Our technical support team has a thorough knowledge of the expansion process, and an even better concept of how to trouble shoot and resolve any data routing and data storage issues.   The expansion in the data center will result in improvements in data storage and retrieval and will benefit all SIMMS users.

SIMMS has performed three installations in Jamaican Hospitals. The main installation was done at the Heart Institute of the Caribbean.  The Heart Institute of the Caribbean (HIC) is an innovative, dynamic healthcare center that serves as the center of excellence for cardiovascular diseases (CVD), occupational health, diabetes care and general internal medicine in the West Indies. The Heart Institute of the Caribbean is located in Kingston, Jamaica and is the regional center for comprehensive and sophisticated diagnosis and management of all forms of heart diseases. HIC provides expert diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and general medical conditions and consultative opinion locally and also remotely via a network of specialists linked by a global telemedical network. These services were previously not available in Jamaica and the only option for patients in the region is to seek or procure such services in the USA, particularly in Florida. Implementing SIMMS Enterprise at the Heart Institute of the Caribbean allows for a faster report turnaround time which is critical for the Cardiovascular diseases. 

SIMMS is proud to announce the release of Rad Station III. Rad Station III supports digital Echocardiography. Digital Echocardiography results in more efficient and convenient reading of the study, easy comparison with the previous studies, easier quantification and higher image quality.  With Rad Station III SIMMS Enterprise clients will be able to view Echocardiography from anywhere with out using DVDs or cassettes. Rad Station III includes advanced features and tools to support Echocardiography viewing.
